Hellenic TV Interview: Cyprus Environment Foundation – 05 2022

In May 2022 Hellenic TV journalist Mr Vasilis Panayi, interviewed our executive director, Sofia Matsi as part of the show “Πρόσωπα – Faces” where personalities active within the Greek space are showcased.

Sofia talked about the research she is conducting with the University of Cyprus on the sustainable farming of carobs and went through her life choices that lead her to environmental conservation work she is currently conducting as part of the Cyprus Environment Foundation (CEF).

During the interview, the vision and aims of the CEF were presented along with the non-profit organization’s four areas of interest. Sofia talked about the first grants CEF awarded to local environmental organizations and how she envisions the upcoming event in the Cyprus High Commission in London, to further expand the organization’s network and capacity to keep supporting essential environmental conservation work in Cyprus.
