CEF Quarterly Newsletter: Spring 2025
This spring marks a season of meaningful milestones, vibrant collaborations and impactful recognitions for the Cyprus Environment Foundation (CEF).
We were honoured to host the Conservation Collective’s annual Global Gathering for 2025, welcoming members from across our global network to Cyprus for a week of learning, sharing, and celebrating grassroots environmental action.
During our concluding event, the Collective Awards Ceremony, CEF proudly received the “Reducing Pollution” award and a recognition for the project of “Highest Impact” for local initiatives supported.
This quarter, we continued our creative collaborations with local artists with the The Loutra Project raising funds for the conservation of Cyprus’ nature. Our TUI Field to Fork Cyprus project kicked off with an international press conference, while key milestones were achieved by our Lara-Toxeftra CARE Plan and Empowering Plastic Free Beaches projects. In support of local biodiversity, CEF is backing the production of a documentary on Cyprus’ endemic cattle breed, aiming to raise awareness and inspire conservation efforts for this unique and endangered species.
