Three wins for CEF supported projects!
Supporting the conservation of Cyprus’ endangered Griffon Vultures run by BirdLife Cyprus,
Enabling Marine Environmental Awareness through the Creative Arts coordinated by Enalia Physis team and
Activating the ‘Plastic Free Beach’ movement in Cyprus, part of the project Keep our Sand and Sea Plastic Free, Destination Zero Waste in Cyprus and Greece, by the Cyprus Sustainable Tourism Initiative,
Are three of the 17 projects awarded today across Cyprus during the first organised: “Sustainable Development Awards 2025 for Non-Governmental Organizations: ‘17 Goals, Actions for a Future’.”
The evaluation was carried out by the Directorate-General for Development – Ministry of Finance, the Office of the Commissioner for the Environment and Animal Welfare, the Pancyprian Coordinating Council for Volunteerism, the Cyprus Network for Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility (CSR Cyprus), and the Office of the Commissioner for Citizens.
