CEF’s Christmas Challenge 2022
The BigGive is holding a Christmas Challenge campaign launching on Giving Tuesday (29th Nov 2022) and running for 7 days, looking to encourage people to give to charity in addition to their Christmas shopping, to support causes that are important to them.
During the week of November 29th to December 6th 2022, every donation made to the Cyprus Environment Foundation (CEF) via The BigGive website, will be matched – meaning, donors can DOUBLE their impact for nature!

CEF’s goal is to raise ₤10,000 through this online campaign and unlock the equivalent amount from the Big Give Christmas Challenge Match Fund, aiming for a total of ₤20,000 campaign funds raised by the end of that week.
CEF connects to the best local grassroot organizations and provides funding to fuel their work on the protection and enhancement of the natural ecosystems of Cyprus. There are so many incredible local heroes working hard to protect and restore the island’s natural environment. However, the need for grants to regenerate nature on the ground greatly outweighs the funding currently available.
All raised funds will be channeled towards the support of the highest priority existing and exciting new nature conservation and regeneration projects in Cyprus.
